Block 6: Moisture, Clouds, and Precipitation

When it Rains it Pours!

Nitrogen is the most abundant gas in the atmosphere and oxygen is the gas that keeps us alive. Each of those gases are absolutely necessary for our existence.

Equally important to life is the water vapor found in the atmosphere. Some areas the humidity is very high, and in other places the amount of water vapor in the atmosphere is very low.

Whatever the situation, the amount of water vapor in the atmosphere affects the climate, weather and even living comfort of people and animals. The nature of vegetation in a region is also greatly dependent on the humidity generally present.

ASSIGNMENT:  

1. List the main FACTS mentioned in each of them, being sure to discuss the primary topic of each one. Include and highlight the most important vocabulary in the video.
